International School of Technical Education (ISTE) was established in October 2008.The main functions of this school are enhancing the communications between SCAT and colleges worldwide and helping students to achieve the required abilities in the international labor market.
Currently, there are over 1300 students in the School. The employment rate of the graduates has remains above 95% in the past five years. Several programs are offered by ISTE, they are:
1.）Applied English (International Projects Contracting Orientation)
This program is supported by the National Education Department and the National Financial Department. It is one of the most competitive courses which achieves the highest employment index in SCAT,
2.) Joint-program with Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE (NMIT). Architectural Engineering Technology was chosen as the cooperative major. At present, over 1，000 students are studying in the program and about 300 graduates, with 100% employment rate. The graduates will gain the National Higher Education Diploma from both SCAT and NMIT.
3.) Exchange program with Denmark VIA University College (VIA). Under 2+2 model, the program is carried out in the major of Architectural Technology and Construction Management. Students will spend two years in SCAT and another two years in VIA. Graduates from this program will gain the national higher education diploma from SCAT and bachelor degree from VIA.
4.) Joint-program with UK Lincoln College. The program is carried out in the majors of construction pricing and Construction Management. The graduates will gain the National Higher Education Diploma from both SCAT and NMIT.
5.) Short-term course: Chinese Language and culture. This program is for students who want to learn the Chinese language, understand Chinese traditions as well as Chinese culture. It provides a flexible structure to suit personal requirement. Participants in this program will gain the ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese efficiently on the level required for the diploma courses.
四川建筑职业技术学院国际技术教育学院成立于二○○八年十二月。其主要功能是加强学院与海外学院的交流及培养学生具备国际劳动力市场所需的能力。目前，国际技术教育学院有在校学生1300余人，毕业生就业率近五年来均保持在95%以上。开办的项目有：
1.）应用英语（国际工程承包方向）
本专业为国家教育部、财政部“高等职业学校提升专业服务产业发展能力项目”重点支持建设专业，是学院就业竞争力指数最高的专业之一。
2.）中澳合作办学项目：建筑工程技术专业
本专业由学院与澳大利亚北墨尔本高等技术学院(NMIT)合作开办。目前，有1000余名在校生及300余名毕业生，就业率100%。学生毕业可同时获得：四川建筑职业技术学院毕业文凭、澳大利亚北墨尔本高等技术学院毕业文凭。
3.） 中丹交流项目：建筑工程技术、工程管理
该项目采用“2+2”模式，学生在建院学习两年后前往丹麦VIA大学学习两年。毕业生可获得四川建筑职业技术学院毕业文凭及丹麦VIA大学本科学位。
4.）中英合作办学项目：工程造价专业、建筑工程管理专业
本专业由学院与英国林肯学院（Lincoln College）合作开办。学生毕业同时获得：四川建筑职业技术学院毕业文凭、英国林肯学院国家高等文凭（HND）。
5.）中文及中国文化短期培训课程
该项目是为了那些想学习中文，了解中国文化的学生开设。课程设置灵活。培训合格者能用中文进行交流并能达到学历教育所需中文水平 。
International students can apply for all the diploma courses and short-term courses offered by SCAT. If you are interested in any course we provide, you can apply directly to SCAT through the International Affairs Office(IAO).
国际学生可以选择学院提供的任何一门学历教育课程及短期课程就读。如果你对我们所提供的任何一门课程感兴趣，你可以直接向外事办申请。
